Iran is a bigger problem than Iraq for many reasons:
- Iran is ten times larger than Iraq
- It is further away than Iraq, which means it can't be bombed easily on a single return flight.
- Iraq had a single location, Iran has more than a dozen locations, and that is counting only those that are known.
- Not only won't it be a surprise in Iran, but they can analyze what happened in Iraq and prepare for it.
The pluses are:
- Everyone wants us to do it, so we won't be condemed quite as badly, and we may even be assisted.
- Iran is still pretty backwards.
- We have more advanced technology than we did back then.
